Of course, we also offer non-alcoholic cocktails and a variety of other drinks. And naturally, there are also snacks for those feeling a bit peckish …….. just come by and enjoy – the motto of the Amadeus Salzach-Island-Bar – in the heart of the Old Town.
Island Feeling Happy Hour from 6pm to 7:30pm.
The Amadeus Salzach-Island-Bar is also exclusively at your disposal for private festivities such as company celebrations, birthdays, weddings, student parties, anniversaries and much more. Our experienced team will accompany your event from start to finish - a guarantee for a successful event. We are happy to help choose the catering company for your meal.
There is also the possibility of combining your event with a boat cruise on the river Salzach or an Amphibious Splash Tour. The Amadeus Salzach-Island-Bar can be rented from mid-March until the end of December.

We see the Salzach-Island-Bar as a relaxing meeting place after a day at work and as a place for social gatherings and therefore politely ask for your understanding that children under 12 years of age are not allowed in. We thank you for your understanding.

This floating bar is located on the water of the Salzach between the Hotel Sacher and the old town of Salzburg (Hanuschplatz or Franz-Josef-Kai 1a).
The well-known Makartsteg (Marco Feingold Steg), a curved pedestrian bridge that connects the old town with the new town, is right next to the Amadeus Salzach-Insel-Bar.
Arrival by car Coming from the A1 / Villach A10 & Munich A8 Take the airport exit and drive along the Innsbrucker Bundesstrasse towards the city. At the fork in the Innsbrucker Bundesstrasse, turn right into Neutorstrasse and follow this towards the center. After about 2 km you will reach the Neutor (Sigmundstor), directly in front of the Neutor you can turn right into the old town garage to park.
At the garage exit, take the path to the Haus der Natur or Mönchsberglift, from there it is only about 3 minutes to the Amadeus Salzach-Island-Bar.
