The Salzach Island Bar is ide­ally located in Salzburg. In the mid­dle of the city you can drink and enjoy your­self directly on the river.

The river Salzach is espe­cially at its best at night time. The city lights reflect mag­i­cally off the dark sur­face of the city’s river. The Salzach Island Bar is located in the cen­ter of Salzburg and is there­fore an ideal place for spe­cial times. The Salzach Island Bar is open for guests daily from 7pm. The archi­tec­turally sophis­ti­cated glass pavil­ion offers 56 com­fort­able seats both indoors and out­doors. Soft drinks, wines, cock­tails and snacks — the Salzach Island Bar will impress you with its large selec­tion.

The Salzach Island Bar is not only “the place to be” for a drink with friends or an apéri­tif before a going to a restau­rant. It also gives you the exclu­sive chance to cel­e­brate with the unique ambi­ence of the island. Up to 56 peo­ple can be seated. Your guests will appre­ci­ate the unique view through the large glass win­dows. Of course you can also com­bine your visit to the Salzach Island Bar with cul­tural events such as a Mozart con­cert in the Fortress dur­ing the Salzburg Fortress Con­cert sea­son. In terms of cater­ing, you can tell us your require­ments for your exclu­sive event on the Salzach Island Bar. We have par­tic­u­larly attrac­tive fes­ti­vals on the River Salzach Island Bar and we can com­bine these with a roman­tic evening cruise on the “Amadeus Salzburg”. Fol­low­ing the cruise you can enjoy din­ner our glass pavil­ion on the Makart­steg jetty. Cor­po­rate events, anniver­saries, wed­dings and much more take place annu­ally in large num­bers on the Salzach River Island Bar. Exclu­sive rental and char­ter is avail­able from late March to late Octo­ber.
