For more than 40 years, the world-famous Salzburg Fortress Concerts have been held all year round with 300 concerts in the most magnificent chambers of Fortress Hohensalzburg.The Salzburg Mozart Ensemble and the Mozart Chamber Orchestra Salzburg perform the most well-known  and beloved works of W.A. Mozart to Strauss. The concert ticket includes free admission to the fortress and free transportation with the fortress funicular (Mozart concert visitors can go up 1 hour before the concert begins).

Salzburg Fortress Concerts – Classical Masterpieces in an Historical Setting

There is no place more genuine than the famous Salzburg Fortress to enjoy classical masterpieces of Mozart and other well-known Austrian composers, like Strauss, Schubert and Joseph Haydn.

The originally decorated halls of the fortress can accommodate up to 150 persons. The Mozart concerts are performed in the Golden Hall, the Arms Hall or in the Castle Hall.

Best of Mozart Dinner Concerts

How about a fabulous dinner before the concert? We also offer Mozart concerts combined with a three-course dinner in the fortress restaurant. There’s no better way to enjoy Salzburg!
