You board the “Amadeus Salzburg” at the Makartsteg jetty in the old city and cruise up river past the posh houses and the imposing city gate with a view of the unique natural landscape of the River Salzach to the ‘Überfürsteg’ bridge. Here, the riverboat “Amadeus Salzburg” turns around and brings you back to the jetty at Makartsteg.

Experience Salzburg at its best as part of Tour 1. Starting from Makartsteg in the old town, you glide past the imposing backdrop of the city and the natural landscape along the river Salzach with a view of the mighty Hagen and Tennen Mountains to the exclusive residential area in the south of the city and back again.
