Salzach-Boat-Cruises: Routes and Prices in Overview
Here you will find an overview of the various offers of the “Salzburg Schifffahrt” (Salzburg Boat Cruises) – Salzburg's only provider of sightseeing tours, by cruise boat, on the Salzach River.
Tour 1: Boat Excursion "Salzburg Highlights"
With tour I, experience the nicest slide of Salzburg. Beginning at the "Makartsteg" in the centre of the Old Town, you glide past the impressive town scenery, the natural landscape ot the Salzach, along to the exclusive residential area in the south of the town and finally to the magnificent "Hagen" and "Tennengebirge", a southern ridge oft Alps- and back.

Tour 2: Boat Excursion & Hellbrunn Palace & Zoo
With tour 2, enjoy the Old Town scenery, the natural landscape of the Salzach, combined with the exclusive residential area, the magnificent "Hagen- and "Tennengebirge" and, after a 5-minute shuttle transfer, the fantastically-situated baroque castle "Hellbrunn" with the world-famous water fountains and the chaming pavilion from the film "Sound of Music". Immediately adjacent, you will find the renowned Salzburg Zoo with about 800 animals form 140 animal species.

Tour 3: Hellbrunn exklusiv
This unique Tour combines 3 exklusive Highlights: Enjoy the unique city panorama and the natural landscape of the Salzach on a cruise form the old town centre to Hellbrunn. After your arrival at the landing Hellbrunn a shuttle service will take you in a five minutes drive to the enchanting baroque Hellbrunn Palace. There you get an exclusive quick admission into the world famous trick fountains. After the tour you will have enough time to visit the Hellbrunn Palace on your own by an audio guide. At the end your personal driver brings you back to the Old city landing, where your journey started.

Tour 3A: Park & Boat
This offer is especially interesting for groups. South of the city of Salzburg lies a Park & Ride Parking Lot. The Hellbrunn cruise boat landing is only a two minute walk away from this Parking Lot. The “Amadeus Salzburg” awaits you there to take you to the Makartsteg landing, passing by the wonderful landscape and the magnificent city backdrop as it cruises down the river. Once you have finished with your visit to the Old Town you can then decide for yourself if you want to return to the Park & Ride Parking Lot with the boat or not.

Tour 4: Romantik Evening Cruise & Candlelight-Dinner (For groups of 20 or more)
Salzburg at night affords a beautiful sight as the lights of the city mirror themselves in the Salzach River. On this tour you will receive the “Captain’s Welcoming Drink”, which is either a glass of sparkling wine or a non-alcoholic beverage. Afterwards you will experience an evening cruise up the Salzach River to the Ueberfuhrsteg (Ueberfuhr footbridge) and back. To top off this wonderful experience, a romantic Candlelight-Dinner awaits you once you arrive back at the Salzach-Island-Bar at the Makartsteg landing.
